Learning to Live Well Through the World

Join Acacia Tree Travels and Rebecca Lindberg, LLC for an immersive journey exploring history, culture, food, and resilience across South Africa and Lesotho.

This journey is designed for travelers seeking more than sightseeing.

Together we will explore the landscapes, history, and food cultures of South Africa and Lesotho while engaging in conversations about resilience, justice, and what it means to live well in the world.

Through guided experiences, shared meals, and reflection, the goal is not simply to visit a place — but to return home changed by it.

  • Experience Robben Island with a former political prisoner

  • Visit District Six

  • Hike (or ride up) Table Mountain

  • Discover local history through cuisine on the Flavors to Freedom Tour and through shared meals

  • Learn at the Apartheid Museum

  • Explore Soweto by bike or tuk-tuk

  • Enjoy malaria-free safari Big five game drives and walks at Madikwe Game Reserve

  • Visit villages to connect, rest, reflect, and share conversation

  • Walk, hike, or horseback ride in Lesotho’s highlands

  • Enjoy cultural evenings and conversations about local history, culture, and resilience
